I want to get my iPhone 13 Pro fixed, the back glass is damaged however I’m wondering if I take it into apple, will they repair the stainless steel bands surrounding the phone aswell, as the rough edge on them caused by the drop is bothering me more then the glass being cracked and I’m not sure the small crack is worth paying the small fee with AppleCare as the glass doesn’t bother me too much
Apple doesn't repair cases per se for the customer. If you bring yours in, it will most likely be a replacement that could be new or could be assembled from a combination of new and used parts that meet Apple's standards as a refurbished device. Then yours would likely be sent in to whatever place refurbishes iPhones to evaluate the parts for reuse. Like maybe stripping out the logic board, cameras, front, screen, etc. and putting those in a new case for the next customer to receive a replacement. But the replacement you get might be made that way.
Besides that, if there's a serious dent in the case, they might not even offer a glass-only repair. Apple has standards for denying glass-only repairs where it may not be considered suitable for repair, especially if it can't be properly sealed or the case is bent.
