I have an iPhone 12, 2 of my daughters have iPhone 11 and 1 has iPhone 8. All my messenger photos from years and years have all gone from the daughters with iPhone 11’s the other one on the iPhone 8 are still there. Does anyone know why this has happened and is there a way to restore all these precious photos….

If you're using iCloud Photos to store these images, you can check on them using a web browser. All you'll need to do is sign into iCloud using the same Apple ID that's being used on the iPhone 8. Here's a resource to help guide you through accessing the photos from a web browser: View your photos and videos on iCloud.com
If the photos aren't present when checking iCloud Photos from a web browser, you can try sharing the photos from the iPhone 8 with the iPhone 11 using the following article: Share iPhone photos with Shared Albums in iCloud
