Windows Dynamic Lock

Has anyone had any problems in getting the dynamic lock feature in Windows to work with their iPhone 13?

It pairs via Bluetooth fine, stays connected, lists the phone for use with dynamic lock, but when I walk away and come back or the laptop restarts, it doesn't seem to be able to connect with the phone again. Unless I do it manually on the phone itself.

This used to work flawlessly with iPhone XR!

Any ideas?
