Is it safe to remove the drop protective glass to replace it with a new one when there are hairline cracks

Is it safe to peel off the protective plastic over the iPhone glass to replace it with a new store bought protective plastic glass cover when it has hairline cracks

iPhones don't come with any type protective glass from factory. It's just the regular glass screen.


If you added a tempered glass screen protector after purchase then you can remove it if you want, its your add-on and you can do whatever you want with it. . Be careful as tempered glass can be very sharp when it cracks.


There should be no major issue with you removing it as long as the underlying screen is not broken.
