My phone doesn't show "Leave this Conversation" so how do I remove myself from a group text with android and iphone users?

If it's a mixed group of people using SMS and iMessage, you will need to ask people in the group to start a new group that doesn't include you.

You can also mute notifications for just that thread.

You can only remove someone if everyone in the group is using iMessage. Unfortunately, that's not the case here.

I just upgraded my iPhone 12 to current software

as of today on the bottom of a group message (which is phishing) and I’ve blocked all 21 numbers…

is it safe from Apple to hit the red notification at the bottom that says “leave the conversation”?

if I hit that on an obvious phishing group text does it give that sender access to me at all?

That option is only available if everyone in the thread is using iMessage.
