Hi there! I accidentally deleted photos off of my SD card while it was in the camera. I contacted Apple but they won't suggest any 3rd party software. Who has found a software that successfully restored their photos? Free would be great but I don't mind paying a bit for a reliable and legitimate piece of software.

There are a number of apps. None are free for recovery, but most will offer a free version which will scan the card and tell you what it thinks it can recover.
You then have to pay for the upgrade that will actually do the recovery.
On such is diskdrill. Recover cost is around £86 - this price is typical for all recovery apps I've seen. I've not used any, so can't give a personal recommendation.
You can also go to the website of the mfg of the card. They might have some software for this.
