How can I forward calls and text message to another phone number?

Calls, yes, if your cellular plan includes call forwarding.

Text messages, no.

1. Start the Settings app.
2. Tap "Phone."
3. Tap "Call Forwarding."
4. Turn on Call Forwarding by swiping the button to the right.
5. Tap "Forward To."
6. Enter the phone number that you want to redirect your phone calls to.
7. When you're done, use the back button to save your changes.

Note that those instructions will not work with a phone on a legacy CDMA carrier (Verizon, former Sprint customer in some cases). Those people will have to dial a short code to set up call forwarding.
