Hello, there’s something wrong with my mail, it’s stuck on a window trying to send a file and then juts constantly flashing / glitching across the screen. It stops if I force quit mail but as soon as I reopen it continues, have tried full shut down to no avail. Software is up to date

Can you click on the menu items on the top? If so try taking all accounts offline first (Mailbox -> Take all accounts offline) then quit or force quit Mail, it should stop the sending process, then reopen Mail again and try deleting the last mail you were trying to send.
