friend claims ransomware was the cause his iPhone 8 FaceTime is not working? He said they’re demanding a ransom of $1000 Amazon card. He wants to pay because he says he doesn’t want his crypto and other sensitive accounts to be compromised. I swear I’m not making this stuff up. I’m not buying it and think it’s hog wash so just want clarification, so I can tell him to smarten up!!

I have been getting malware and phished on my Apple products PLEASEEEEE, someone please help me I have been getting malware’s and phished and have absolutely no use or recalection of any calls on my phones due to it right now I have it paused on screen time bc I don’t remeber how I figured it out but I managed to become organizer so there were an iphone14,Apple Watch and s Mac computer that was bought with a credit card the hacker had access to my bank app and connected a credit line at Best Buy hat gave them credit through my bak to ourchase all these different Apple products now I’m still trying to figure out how to get this problem solved so as of now I have scrennbtime paused for all apps on other devices if anyone has any experience with this PLEASEEEEE reach out to meeeeed thanj u???!? Facetune scam? Ive seen so many people saying “I got charged for the free trial on facetune without it asking me anything” and i wanna know if anyone is going through that. I dont want to be scammed and this discussion will be here so that if i do get charged apple better fix it ASAP

All such messages are scams presented by criminals. This is the case 100% of the time, no exceptions. No, your friend is not special in this case. Ignore such messages.
