why did my iPhone 13 ring while in airplane mode

My iPhone 13 mini rang while in airplane mode! How is this possible?

If you had WiFi turned on while the phone was in Airplane mode, and you have WiFi calling enabled (required now on some carriers), calls can still come through using WiFi calling.
