That's a location in Apple Stores where various advice is given including debugging issues as well as evaluating Apple devices for repair. It's a level of service that's far better than I've gotten from any other manufacturer. That being said, when I've gotten my Apple devices fixed, it wasn't necessarily at the Genius Bar. Often it would be full and they just found a table in another part of the store. All they really need is access to their device (usually an iPad mini) to run diagnostics and look up information such as parts availability and a time estimate based on how man technicians are available. Most of the repairs are actually done in the back where the repair equipment is located.

But we don't know where you're located. You might not be in a place with Apple Stores, and in that case you can receive service at an Apple Authorized Service Provider that will have access to Apple parts and will follow Apple's repair procedures.
