You need to tell us what language your keyboard is. Apple makes a couple dozen different ones. If you don't see it printed on a key, you can use Keyboard Viewer to find that or anything else.

Hi,
To underscore on a Mac, a person will simply press and hold the Shift key, then press the underscore or dash key.
Depending on the layout of the keyboard, the dash/underscore key should be found in between the number 0 and the addition and equal sign key.
I am using in japan with Japanese and English keyboard here i attached my keyboard
On the Japanese keyboard, the underscore should be on the bottom right corner key, where it is printed. Does it work on yours? If not, what does that key produce?
Hi,
shift+ろ will be underscore.

Shift should not be needed normally. If typing Japanese in the Kana input mode, so that the key by itself produces ろ, underscore is on Option ろ.
Thank you so much for your help 😀
