Loading Basic Lower Third never happens

I moved my "fcpbundle" libraries from my MacBook Pro to my external drive, and it looks like this destroyed my libraries. None of the texts on my videos show, it just says "Loading Basic Lower Third" in all places, but it never happens. Help!

can't open FCPX library Hello! I have a FCPX library I created in 2019 which I can’t open. When I try, I get the “need to update” message in Final Cut. I click update, and then I see the loading window with a progress bar but the program just hangs. I see the spinning color wheel and eventually I need to Force Quit the program (FCPX not responding). I’ve tried opening a copy of this library from my back up, but with the same results. I am running FCPX V10.4.10 on a late 2015 iMac running Mojave V10.14.6 with 32 GB of memory. I googled the problem and I’ve seen suggestions of opening the library package and trashing locked files, but what I saw didn’t match the description in the article so I was hesitant to try anything. Thank you in advance for any help!

does big sur still support mid files in latest release Upgrade to latest big-Sur 11.5.2 resulted in not being able to play .mid files on QuickTime player (10.5). Player comments with " not able to open file " xxx.mid". . File is incompatible with QuickTime player. These files used to play normally. Does anyone know if .mid files are still supported with big sur 11.5.2. If they are still supported, does anyone have a clue what to adept/change. I have a macbook air 8,2 2019 release. (by the way garageband still plays the .mid files so they are not corrupted)

Holy cannoli! This solved the problem!

Everything was loading fine except the Lower Thirds. I went to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy and ticked FCP in "Full Disk Access", not expecting anything, but to my big surprise this solved the problem. Your Sir are the true MVP!

There may be more to it, but I'd start by ensuring that FCP has "Full Disk Access" in System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy.

What’s the computer, OS, and FCP versions?
