Hello wrightli,

Complete Steps 1 - 3 from the following guide to see if that helps resolve this: If you can't connect your iPad to your Magic Keyboard, Smart Keyboard, or Smart Keyboard Folio

If not, let us know more:

  • Does this happen when using a certain app or completing a particular task?
  • Do any alerts appear, and if so, what do they say?

The more details you can provide the better.

Take care!

Thanks for responding, Tammy. Yes, I’ve done all the other steps. It seems to happen when I use split screen, or an app like Notes or Stickies that require typing. When I leave the app, the keyboard doesn’t work on anything else. That said, I’ve also had it just stop typing mid sentence, so I don’t think it is a specific app. Does that help?
