Ipad video scanning

Does iPad have a built in automatic video scanning feature? I’ve noticed this on my new ioad when doing Zoom sessions. I can’t find anything in Settings on this, or how it works, how I can control, etc?

iPad, iPadOS 15

What do you mean by "video scanning"? What exactly is it doing?

If you are referring to when the iPad camera moves to keep you centered and in frame, yes, that is called Center Stage. See here: link-> Use Center Stage on your iPad or Studio Display - Apple Support

Yes, that’s what I was referencing. Except……it doesn’t seem to always keep me centered? Why does Apple keep this feature such a secret? Do you know if there’s any way(s) to control it, other than On or Off?

Thanks for solving the mystery.

For iPadOS15, Centre Stage settings/controls are accessed from the Control Centre whilst a supported App is running. Swipe downwards from top-right of the screen:

Centre Stage was introduced with iPadOS15 - and is currently only supported by 2021 models of iPad Pro, the iPad9, iPad mini6 and iPad Air4.
