zsh: permission denied error message on MacOS Monterey Version 12.3.1

Hello,

I'm new at working with commands on my terminal. I'm currently working on an acoustic project using Montreal Forced Alignment and the last step is to run commands on the Terminal. I keep running on this error message : zsh: permission denied: /Users/X/Desktop/MFA/montreal-forced-aligner/bin/mfa_align

I have tried checking that the folders are not locked, I'm the admin of the account, there is not error in the coding (i.e. extra space, etc.)., so I'm unsure of what I'm currently doing wrong. I am able to set up my working directory but when I have to run my first argument command, I get a permission denied error.

I downloaded the Oh My Zsh but I'm not sure how to use it to fix the error. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks!

Add Terminal to Full Disk Access in Privacy tab of Security & Privacy System Preferences.

I downloaded the Oh My Zsh but I'm not sure how to use it to fix the error.

Oh My Zsh is a nice interface/plug-in type system for using z-shell, but it isn't some sort of "repair" tool.

When I run the working directory : andrearamirez@Andreas-Air-6 ~ % cd ~/Desktop/MFA/montreal-forced-aligner/

andrearamirez@Andreas-Air-6 montreal-forced-aligner % -- it works, but once I try to run the first command :"~/Desktop/MFA/montreal-forced-aligner/lib/align, I get an error--- zsh: permission denied: /Users/andrearamirez/Desktop/MFA/montreal-forced-aligner/lib/align

Thank you for your feedback. I forgot to include that I tried doing this previously, reseting my mac and trying again but it unfortunately does not work still.
