Greetings Kirbie8008,
Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
If you're joining a normal Wi-Fi network, you should be able to sign in using the Wi-Fi password. For assistance with that, check out the steps within this resource: Connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you're referring to a private Wi-Fi address, you may need to turn Private Address on to connect to the network. The information below can be found within the following resource along with additional information and guidance: Use private Wi-Fi addresses on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support
Join Wi-Fi networks with a private address
Connect to Wi-Fi networks like you normally do. A private address doesn't affect how you join or use most Wi-Fi networks, but if a network doesn’t allow your device to join, or doesn’t allow it further network or internet access after joining, you can turn off Private Address for that network.
If none of that information is helpful, provide more details for a better understanding of what you're experiencing. If you're getting an error message, let us know what it shows along with the type of Wi-Fi network you're working with. For example; a home network, public network, work network, or VPN.
Have a great day!
