What is this? IMessage?
This along with a lot of of there just like this popped up on my iPad and disappeared about 10 minutes later! Anyone know what it is or why?

If you are seeing these unknown group messages on your iPad, have you enabled Messages in iCloud recently? This shows how to check: Use Messages in iCloud
If you have this feature enabled, do the conversations on your iPad and your iPhone sync or do they look different? If they look different, connect your iPad to power and a Wi-Fi network and it should update to show the same message history as your iPhone.
If something else is happening, please provide more details.
