opening all finder search results

When I search for a particular file or folder name and Spotlight returns several items, can I select and open them all at once?

Typically, not to open them but to just find them in Finder (to copy them, attach them to email etc.). That is: If you wanted to open a file search result, you would click; if you wanted to open Finder to show the file in its folder, you would Command-click. Since recently --- presumably a update of MacOS? --- the second option, Command-click or "Open in Folder", does not work anymore. It now also opens the file (in Word or whatever the associated app etc.)?! Is that per design? (If so, that would be shitty design!) Is it only me? How can I re-enable the "Open in Folder" function? I searched online but could not find a solution. Thank you for any advice

Search in finder in a folder blocked on Spotlight I have a folder that I don't want to show on Spotlight search (command+space), so I added it on the privacy section of Spotlight on system preferences. But now when I'm in that folder on Finder, I can't search for any file, which defeats the purpose of using Finder to... find a file. Is there any way to solve this?

how do i get finder to search in a folder? when i search in finder, it automatically searchinges "this mac" rather than the folder I had selected. When I change the search in the top of the finder window to select the folder that I had open - by clicking on it - the search continues to find files anywhere on my mac. I can tell its finding results from wierd and random places elsewhere on the system because if I select a file in the search results, it shows the path at the bottom and it has nothing to do with the folder I had selected. is there a way - in finder - to search a folder and its sub folders for files containing the words I am searching for and not have it show results from the entire system? if there is not a way in finder, what is the way I can search for files containing the text I am looking for using TERMINAL, where I believe things might behave logically?

I use Find Any File for my enhanced searches. It's not free but works very well. Available on the AppStore too.
