Im having problems downloading Big Sur on Monterey,

I followed a guide on how to downgrade from Monterey to Big Sur because Im having constant problems with Hash error Monterey keeps sending forcing me to reinstall the whole OS over and over again so I decided to downgrade to Big Sur

it starts downloading fine from the App Store and it downloads it from the update option, but even though I disabled notifications of updates the OS goes back again telling me if I want to update Monterey and I can't find no sign for the install on Big Sur, what am I doing wrong ?

Hmmm.

You are going backwards, therefore Monterey has to be erased. reformatted, initialized on the internal drive.

You can not run the Big Sur installer at this point.

if your issue persist run the the download from a Safeboot start up mode:

The installer sitting in your Applications folder(?) "Install macOS Big Sur.app"

Create a bootable clone, because you have to erase the main drive—

verify you are using the Safari browser to download/initiate the macOS links.

The older macOS installer backups on this server:

Maybe this old article will help—

There are other ways through Terminal.app as well.... so not all is lost

Thank you very much, this actually did help, I tried it in safe mode and even though it sent a message that Big Sur couldn't be installed it did download the Big Sur installer, allowing me to make a bootable drive on Big Sur for another drive,

I'm also trying the new Monterey update to check if the old Hash problem reappears, I hope it doesn't this time.

Im having problems downloading Big Sur on Monterey,
