Not a pretty picture— it will get nothing but worse, the damage compounds itself.
Also, it the computer still works, back up your drive NOW!!!
If the logic board is damaged or destroyed, the SSD cannot be removed for data recovery. You lose EVERYTHING if you do not have an external backup to a physical device (not "cloud' backups).
If the battery is swollen (and especially if it's swollen enough to split the case) ... get your MBP out of your house ASAP, preferably into a closed metal trash can. A swollen battery can explode and even start a fire.

Stop using your computer and have examined by an authorized service center.
DO NOT delay in getting this assessed and repaired. Rate of swell in failed batteries is measurable daily. The longer you delay, the more damage is done until the computer is a total loss.
It's damaged and going to get worse. As advised, shut down and do not operate until Apple or an certified Apple repair shop has fixed it.
