Hello. Good evenig at my end. I am Bismarck, from Accra Ghana. I was restarting my mac this evening and I can see a lock on mac. But i can not open it. I have entered my password several times but can not open.

I want to open it so I can send some file to my sir today

This is a firmware lock that sits between your power button and your normal login screen prompt. Without the firmware password, you cannot proceed any further, and your Apple ID, admin password, or iCloud password are meaningless. You will need to take the Mac to an Apple Store, or Apple Authorized Service provider with your proof of purchase and identification to have them reset this firmware password for you.
