Mail filter does not include flagged

Brand new macbook air M1 running on macOS Monterey.

When I long-click the filter icon, it doesn't allow me to select option to include both unread AND flagged emails.

Have googled / looked around and can't seem to find questions relating to this issue.

You haven't enabled it. Long press > Enable Message Filter and click again to select multiple filters.
