MY iPad Air has a significant delay in getting email to open

If this is just happening with Mail, the following steps could lead to a resolution:

• Close and reopen the app.

• Restart your iPad.

• Check for updates to iPadOS using the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

• Delete the app, then redownload it.
