iCloud backup of old device

If I back an old phone up to iCloud Drive will it overwrite what I already have on iCloud Drive from my newer phone?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

No, the iCloud backups are device specific(actually even more specific but not relevant). so it will not remove the newer backup from another phone.
