Why can't I order a macbook air with a Swedish keyboard in the US?

I was just about to order a new macbook from NYC but noticed the option of a Swedish keyboard didn't exist. I am Swedish and have Swedish clients as well as international and therefore would need the Swedish alphabet. Anyone knows if there is a workaround?

It's really odd though that you can order a Macbook in the US, with a Danish keyboard layout, but not with a Swedish one. How come? (100% certain more people speak Swedish than Danish, for starters.)

You can easily make your keyboard behave like a Swedish keyboard. See

Even with the English keyboard, I think all the Swedish letters can be made by pressing and holding the keys and choosing from the popup menu that appears.

Plus there are option key shortcuts for producing all those letters:

Regarding keyboard availability, see this.

Good point! Nobody in these forums has any info about how Apple decides such things, but you can ask them to add what you want via
