I am not able to add any credit card issued from India on my apple id. I cannot pay by UPI unless the payment info is verified and I cannot verify the payment info as all credit cards are rejected!

Yes, credit cards from India are not allowed as of now. But I wasn't able to DELETE the credit card entry to use UPI
I was the Family Organizer and that prevented me from deleting the credit card on my apple id file. I removed myself as the family organizer and then I was able to delete the credit card, then used UPI to add funds to the wallet.

No, it doesn't work. When I try to use UPI it asks me to first VERIFY my billing information. For that, I need to add a credit card which I cannot.
