Same issue with lagging keyboard and mouse

I'm also using a Logitech keyboard and mouse with the same issue (randomly). I'm glad I didn't buy the MX keys since that doesn't seem to solve it either. Has anyone seen the issue with Apple's magic keyboard and mouse? Are they ignoring this issue because their own hardware is fine?

How far away is the USB Receiver from the Keyboard and Mouse?

Do you have any high speed USB 3 drives or cables near the USB Receiver or Keyboard and Mouse?

If so, try moving the high speed drives and cables to one side and away from the USB Receiver, Keyboard and Mouse to see if that improves the connection.

The back of the Mac Mini is not the best place. Optionally try putting the USB Receiver on a short USB-C to USB-A adapter, to see if that improves the connection.

I put the receiver on a USB-C dongle with USB A ports. Initially, the keyboard did not work thereafter. Then, I experienced the delayed responses. Now, it seems to have leveled out. I'll post again after a couple of days.

You have a USB adapter dongle or a multi port hub?

Adapter dongles generally have one port, while hubs have multiple ports.

What model numbers are the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse?

If the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse are wireless, try using the Logitech Unified Receiver.

FWIW the Logitech USB MK120 Combo Keyboards and Mice work flawlessly with all of our Mac Mini's.

We also have a wireless Logitech MK270 Combo and it works just fine using the USB Unified Receiver.
