How to return iPhone 13 or get store credit within a day of buying it? Box is unopened.

Just an update.

I wrote to the store id informing them that the phone is not activated within one hour of purchase and attached a screenshot taken by the store's representative confirming the phone is yet not activated in their data records. The next day I got the call back from the store that they will take the phone back and reverse the payment in 15-21days. I got my payment back in 15days.

I am not sure if they took the iPhone back cause I am an Apple user since 2010 or if it was not activated. But I am happy I was able to return it and got the money back.

Yeah, I bought the phone from an authorised apple reseller store in India. Yet, store said, in India, Apple does not allow to exchange, return or store credit. Is there anyway I can write to Apple directly about the situation?

I bought it in Mumbai, India today. After visiting store, sales person said it can’t be returned or exchanged. No store credit as well. So wanted to check if it’s across the globe or only in India.
