Reminders on Mac NOT showing

Reminders on Mac NOT showing

I got a new MBP 16, latest OS - 12.3.1

Recovered files and apps from Time Machine

Reminders will not show on the Mac - they show on iPhone and in iCloud via Safari browser

Steps tried so far:

1) Shut down - started in Safe mode, launched reminders app on Mac - reminders not there

1b) Shut down Reminders app

2) Removed reminders files from ~/Library/Containers/Reminders

3) Removed all reminders files from: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.reminders

4) Logged out of iCloud on Mac

5) Logged back in iCloud - synched Reminders turned on

6) Turned off sync reminders on iCloud, then turned back on

7) Launched Reminders app - reminders from iCloud data still NOT there

Now I'm out of ideas

Any help is appreciated

The workaround here is I created another admin account on the Mac and everything works for this admin account after I log into my iCloud account. There must be some legacy files or properties that are getting in the way after I migrated from a 2011 MBP to a 2021 MBP. The second admin account has everything I need, now I just have to decide if I want to keep the original one around in case there is something special I need in the future using it.
