Caller cannot hear me, on Apple Car Play

Recently, when a call comes into my i phone while connected in my car via Apple Car play (USB connection), I can hear them, but they cannot hear me. I can answer the call and hear the caller clearly through the car speakers, but my voice is not transmitted. Lexus UX vehicle.

I have just realized my issue has nothing to do with Apple Car Play. The microphone in the car is not picking up my voice for any voice commands. This is a Lexus issue. I will be taking it back to the dealer. This may be related to the maintenance work I recently had done on the car by the dealer.

Be sure to also check for any iOS updates as well, to ensure the device is using the latest fixes and improvements: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
