Phone privacy

My ex wife has access to my iPhone and is able to retrieve erased text messaging, etc

How do I block other devices phone viewing my information such as people accessing the ICloud. I already changed my Apple ID

will that do the trick?

After having changed your Apple ID, thoroughly cleanse your iPhone as follows:

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


Now, “move in” to your like-new iPhone using that new Apple ID.


Of course, you no longer own any material associated with the previous ID.
