Unable to input photos directly into Word anymore?
I have been using my MacBook Pro for a while now (2019 entry level specs i think) and I have had Microsoft Word and other Microsoft apps like Excel downloaded on it from the beginning.
I have recently started studying and use Word very often. Up until a few weeks ago (possibly before the latest Mac OS update), I used to be able to right click (double click) on Word, a menu pops up and at the bottom of the menu there used to be an option which said 'Take photo with iPhone' or something along them lines.
This feature was amazing! My phone recognised my Mac nearby (of course) and I'd click the option, my iPhone would notify my that Word needed to use the camera, I'd allow it and take an image which would directly upload into Word instantly. It was such a good feature and really handy for me when studying as there are a lot of diagrams and images that I needed.
However, as mentioned above, this feature worked up until a few weeks ago and now it has completely disappeared! I can't find it anywhere, a lot of research was done but no-one seems to have the answer. My Mac is updated to the latest software (Monterey v12.3.1), Word has been deleted and re-installed and my iPhone is updated to latest version also.
Please can someone let me know how to get that feature back if possible! I've checked in the 'Insert' tab on Word, there is a drop down menu on 'Pictures' which also used to have the option available via that way too but that is also missing now.
I really loved that feature and would appreciate any info/help!
Many thanks
