Hi All,
Macbook Keyboard backlid is not working after upgrade to macOS Monterey, even option of keyboard light on low light is gone, only keyboard illuminate before login screen. F5 and F6 or from control center it do not work.
Please help it anyone facing the same? it 2018 MacBook air 13.3 retina display.

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.

If it doesn't help, try to check your keyboard backlight with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something related backlight error(ALS001).

Try to contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Air to Genius Bar which requires making reservation or your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Air there.

tried both ways no luck, even erased complete mac os and reinstalled but results are same it illuminate before login not after.

No, there is no resolution, if it’s hardware issue it never glow before logging and for that taking to Genius Bar is a foolishness so I just remained without it.
