MacBook update frozen

Hello,

My MacBook update was frozen and then I followed the advice online to press the power button for 10 seconds to shut down my laptop. Since then, I can login, but it’s stuck again after I insert my password, loading up to a point but no further. What should I do?

Try booting into Safe Mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support and see if the issue persists there.
