Smart Invert glitching

I have an iphone 8 and recently, my phone forced the update for 15.4.1. Ever since then, smart invert automatically turns itself on. I turn it off but every time I lock my screen and then turn it on, my screen is inverted for a second before returning to normal. I’ll check settings every time and it’s still shown as smart invert turned off. I’ve tried restarting my phone several times but it actually turns smart invert ON every time. I’ve looked up fixes online but there’s nothing useful or insightful.

Every morning after charging my phone (my phone does not die nor do I turn it off when going to bed), smart invert has turned itself back on again. It’s extremely annoying and makes it difficult for me to see the screen. How do I fix it?
