Continual spinning when trying to get to the indicated update for my my MacBook Air

Question

How do I manage to get updates when indicated as it just spins and spins when I click to get the update.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Restart your Mac in "Safe Mode" and try updating macOS while in that mode.

Thank you. I did that the last time this happened and it worked so I will try it again. I really wish this glitz could be fixed by Apple.
