What adapter do I need to restore Apps and data from iMac to new iPad pro

Mac apps can't be run on iPad.


For data, the adapter would depend on where the data is.


If its currently on the iMac, you can either choose to upload to iCloud or any other cloud service, copy them to a Usb drive which you can then plug into the iPad with a USB-C to USB adapter, or Airdrop them if your iMac supports that feature with the iPad.


For a direct connection you can also use a USB-A to USB-C cable and iTunes / Finder.
