i am looking to purchase an iPhone to replace an existing iPhone being used with Xfinity Mobile. Is there a way to be preceded the imei number before I purchase it to determine if it is comparable?

You can’t get an IMEI number from a phone before you purchase it. If you have a question about a phone being compatible with Xfinity, you should contact them for a recommendation on a phone.
