I am running dual monitors and they keep blinking off, no issues with the power, the monitors are sceptre 24 inch and during the original install (apple showed me that the M1 Mac Mini can't run a dual monitor setup at a refresh rate greater than 60 hertz, so they are still set to 60 hertz.
If i take the monitors over to the PC in the office they run fine all day.
Any suggestions?

at,as you said,60 hz… go to system prefs -> display and hold down the “option” key . You should see ‘ scaled for display’. You can set the output resolution and hertz. Yes that is the monitor, with support from Apple we learned that Mac Mini does not support refresh rates over 60hz. Therefore I set the refresh rate set to 60hz. When the Mac Mini 1st arrived 4 months ago it appeared that it would not support the 2 monitors at all and that is true if seeking a refresh rate above 60hz. Reducing the rate permitted them to function for the past few months, one monitor being attached via the USB C to HDMI dondle that i purchased with the Mac Mini.
But as stated above they have started going dark intermittently when i have a lot going on on both screens, it appears the graphics processor is simply overwhelmed and the machine was not meant for dual monitor use. Is there access to the settings such that i can limit the performance and permit both monitors to stay on?
