Apple Music bluetooth annoying issue

Hello all, I have had quite an annoying problem bugging me for a while, which i have not been able to fix.

I will be driving in my car listening to music, if i make or receive a call, once the call is finished, music will not resume. It will just say on my car screen "Not provided, Unknown, Unknown" I will then have to manually open the apple music app, press shuffle, or find the song/album i was listening to, which is risky to do while driving. Similarly, if i leave the car for a few minutes, go into a store, then come back into the car, the same issue will occur.

This used to happen maybe 1 in 10 times, which was a minor annoyance. Now it happens atleast 1 in 2 times.

I have tried unpairing/ forgetting bluetooth connections on both my car and my phone, looked for updates on apple music, made sure i dont have too many apps running in background, nothing seems to help.

Im not totally sure the Apple Music app is even the problem.

The phone model i have is a Samsung A50. I also had this issue with my previous phone, also a samsung. The car I drive is a 2018 Mazda 3.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey JordanYork.

Great steps in trying to resolve the issue you're having with Apple Music not continuing after receiving a call. In your troubleshooting, did you also check with your car and/or stereo manufacturer for possible firmware updates there? If not, we recommend taking a moment to do that as updating can resolve many odd issues.

If that doesn't help, if this is happening while using the Android Auto app with your device, you'll want to reach out to Google Support as shown under "Use Apple Music with Android Auto" here: Use Apple Music with your Android devices

Just in case, here's a link to reach Google Support: Android Auto Help

Take care.
