iTunes TV shows and movies error

I have an Apple TV on my main TV at home. All my apps work except the iTunes TV shows and iTunes movie apps. If I click on them all I get is “An unexpected error occurred”. Then I click to dismiss and all I get is a blank screen until I click out of the app. I have tried forgetting my network and rebooting/ connecting to my wifi. I even checked my wifi speeds and they are fine. I restarted the Apple TV a couple of times (letting it sit unplugged for 10 minutes) but that didn’t solve the problem. I’m trying to figure out what else I can do or check. All my other apps work fine and I can stream movies and shows just fine. I just cannot access iTunes movie or TV shows, which makes me not want to purchase through Apple because the only way to watch is to purchase off my phone and then send it from my phone to the Apple TV. Any advice on how to fix this?

I figured it out. I had restrictions on (because I have kids). Once I turned those off the apps work. Now I just have to remember to turn restrictions back on when the kids watch stuff
