Troubleshooting "Recents":

A. Any Syncing to iCloud?

If this is synced with iCloud, then that may be why they are in recents. So, which app(s) you are seeing this in? If they are not deletable, then they apparently do not exist.

B. Clearing this Junk:

Try backing up your iPad, and then restoring it from the backup. Seems to be broken aliases.
