iMac and cold temperature concerns
Hi. I live in New Zealand (in the South Island) where winter can get pretty cold. I live in my caravan (trailer if you live in the US). I am considering buying a 24" iMac (base model) but am a little concerned about how it will cope with possible low overnight temperatures, especially if I am away from home overnight etc. The night time temperature in the caravan can drop below 10C although I generally run a heater on low when it is very cold, to keep the temperature above 10 if possible, If I were away from home, there would be no heating on.
Would it be best to cover the iMac with something overnight when its cold? If I go away, would packing it up in its original packaging be sufficient to keep it safe?
It is a lot of money to spend so I want to make sure I'm not going to have a major problem, before I decide to buy.
Thanks for any advice.
