I want to only print to USB connection with my Macbook Air

I have an older Brother printer and a 2 year old Macbook Air. The wireless connection works for about one day then I have to set up the wireless again on the printer. That's a big pain. I want to use a USB connection to the printer. I have a USB dongle, that has usb ports, an hdmi port, a usbc port etc.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.3

Plug the printer in and see if the MacBook Air finds it in System Preferences->Printers & Scanners->+ (Add Printer)

Some enhanced features may not be available without proper drivers though. Regular Printing should likely work.
