Does the Apple Watch battery last all day?

Good day and thanks in advance for your help. Am considering purchase of an apple watch but am concerned about the number of hours noted for battery use time before needing to charge. Currently have a FitBit tracker which notes battery life of 5-7 days and have to charge every night as use the gps when exercise. With an 18 hour battery life between charges noted for the Apple Watch am concerned will not last all day.


So any personal experience you have would be greatly appreciated.

The 18 hour battery life is based on a very intense use of the watch throughout the day.


":All-day battery life is based on 18 hours with the following use: 90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of app use, and a 60-minute workout with music playback from Apple Watch via Bluetooth, over the course of 18 hours. Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS) usage includes connection to iPhone via Bluetooth during the entire 18-hour test. Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS + Cellular) usage includes a total of 4 hours of LTE connection and 14 hours of connection to iPhone via Bluetooth over the course of 18 hours."

FWIW, I charge mine overnight, every night and have no problems. My wife has a Fitbit because she finds the sleep monitoring aspects better than the Apple Watch. But in almost every other aspect (in my opinion) I think the Apple Watch is superior.
