Electric shocks by MacBook Pro

I have recently bought MacBook Pro 16" model. It has come with a three pin plug with the MagSafe power adapter. Electric line of my house is also grounded. Yet I feel minor electric shock when I use my MacBook plugged in. I found this very much uncomfortable. Is there any solution to this?

Thanks in advance.

The usually solution is to use a three prong adapter with the ground attached via the faceplate screw if you have only two-prong outlets. Three prong outlets do not necessarily mean your house wiring is properly grounded. There may have been a sale on the three prong outlets at the time the house was built. And ... codes do change over time.

If the adapter is not working, you may have a problem with proper grounding for your entire house wiring setup. Contract with a licensed electrician to determine the true nature of your house wiring.
