What do you mean the SIM has a carrier lock?

What is the exact message you're getting?

The SIM comes from your carrier and can only be used to connect to the carrier that issued it.

If you mean the phone is carrier locked, meaning it will only work with one specific carrier, and you want to use a different carrier, you will need to contact the carrier the phone is locked to and find out what their unlocking policy is..

I’m not trying to use another carrier or phone. In settings, in about, my SIM card says it is in carrier locked mode. I was told I needed a PUK code, which I received 2 yesterday. I keyed a code in, my phone worked. Then last night it stopped working again. That’s what I mean!! I have been dealing with this since Sunday and I need a solution.
