Dear Apple, please update our ios to let us switch our iphone with a passcode and never without a passcode. It’s very important to find our mobiles. We just located my friend’s android mobile and we have it back from a cab driver because he tried to switch it off and the cab driver couldn’t. So its a must feature to be on iphones please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

… but FYI, iPhones do now employ an “offline finding” capability for a period of time after they’ve been turned off.
It’s function is very similar to AirTags.
