Does my iPhone 13 Pro silicone case have a warranty for a developed crack at age 7 months

I read here that there is a one year warranty for manufacturing defects. I think it is a defect that the case is cracking, but I called Apple Support and was informed that my iPhone 13 Pro Silicone Case Abyss Blue is not covered by a warranty. Can someone from Apple clarify, please?

You can make a Genius Bar appointment and have them look at it and convince them it is a manufacturing defect and not from user damage or normal wear and tear it is covered. If you have ever dropped your iPhone and it hit on the case that would not be covered and employees can tell by looking at it if that happened.
